Fred "The Hammer" Williamson is a former professional football player, architect and actor.  A defensive back, The Hammer started his career in the sixties and played for the 49ers, Steelers, Raiders and Chiefs. He was an all star and a league champion. In 1970, after his NFL career, he had a role in the movie M*A*S*H and went on to star in, write, produce and direct a whole slew of films. Fred came in to shop at Antiquarian Traders with his companion. The couple spent about an hour here and came back a few more times.  I can’t recall if they purchased any antiques from us but I have them pose for a picture.
