Sure enough he got them done and called me to thank him for the encouragement that I gave him and invited me to his house to see him. I went there with my wife and children and met his wife Jennifer. When we got there, they were in a midst of a heated discussion which surrounded the use of Feng Shui, the art of placement of furniture, water, and objects of art some of which were banned from the house. He had the best pair of 19th C. male and female lions that I had ever seen that were up at the main house. Jennifer wanted them out, so I came up with the idea of using them as gate sentries that would be mounted on pedestals on each side of his newly installed gates. They were going to place some Chinese marble Fu dogs. Several days later he called me again to come up and inspect his masterpiece...God they looked great! He couldn’t have been happier. Ultimately, he has become an occasional customer and stays in touch. |
