Thomas and Tia are avid antique collectors and I have sold them their best pieces. Whenever he is in town, he stops by Antiquarian Traders and we occasionally go out to dinner. We recently met him for breakfast at the George V while vacationing in Paris last year. One time they came over for a dinner party at our home. Thomas brought his own chef and all the fixin's. He prepared an unbelievable meal which included a soup that was split into two different colors, red and white. To this day, I cannot figure out how the colors did not blend with each other.

Thomas came into our store one day in a Toyota Landcruiser which he said he was going to put in storage for six months while he was going to travel around the world recording. I told him that the car was going to lose it's value so suggested trade. He agreed, made his selection and delivered the car two days later fully serviced, brakes redone, car completely cleaned and detailed. Mr. Gottschalk is Truly a class act!
