Meeuwis van Buuren (December 22, 1902 - 1992)
Meeuwis van Buuren was a painter of seascapes, dune landscapes as well as still lifes. His style of work was very naturalstic/realistic with a fantastic use of color. Meewis van Buuren lived and worked in Rotterdam and was a pupil of the Academy of Fine Arts headed by J.G. Hiej Berg, H.E. Mees and A.P. la Rivière. |
