This vintage 1920?s Art Deco Chinese rug measures 9?3? X 11?5?. It has a dark rose to pale red field with so much going on it I can hardly describe it. The lower right corner has a cluster of houses in the mountains. The lower left has a flowering tree in two shades of yellow two shades of blue purple gold and green with a beautifully drawn bird in the branches and a butterfly coming in for some nectar. Above that is a man fishing from a boat near a waterfall across the field of the rug from a man in a sailboat all beneath a sky strewn with flowers. This is all surrounded by a light gray border with flowers houses rocks and water scenes. The rug has very good pile. The rug is clean and ready to go.
