This is a beautifully toned Proof example with just enough cameo contrast to warrant the designation. The early 20th century Proof coins did not often have lustrous devices, thus few exist with significant contrast. Few finer examples have been certified by either grading service. In fact, this is the finest Cameo Proof of the date graded by PCGS. Three only in 67 cameo. At NGC, out of 198 graded, only five cameos. At PCGS, out of 205 graded, only ten cameos. The mint stopped the cameo process for the first years of coinage and to find one like this is next to impossible. 11/07 Please note that there is absolutely no hazing on this coin. Lovely light toning and brilliant mirrors.
