A fine antique English highly carved hahogany tall case clock in the Chippendale style. Late 19th C., the arched crest above the chased brass and steel face, Westminister chimes, labeled "The Association of Diamond Merchants Grand Hotel Buildings, Trafalgar Square, London", the moon phase arched painted demilune, the case with acanthus and pendant bellflower carvings surrounding the shaped glass front, the base with raised shield shaped panels and raised on acanthus carved ogee bracket feet. |
